Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Water Management, Bhubaneswar and Central Research Institute for Jute & Allied Fibres, Barrackpore. He obtained his B.Sc. (Ag) Hons. degree from BCKV, and M.Sc. & PhD degree from IARI, New Delhi. Dr. Kundu worked at IRRI (International Rice Research Institute), Manila, Philippines for 5 years: (i) first as Soil Chemistry Research Fellow during 1984-1987, and (ii) then as Post-Doctoral Fellow during 1992-1994.
